ChromitAL TCP... Trivalent Conversion Coating for Aluminum Alloys
CST-SurTec, Inc. and SurTec International are pleased to anounce the newest product for hexchrome replacement for Aluminum and its alloys. ChromitAL TCP is produced under license from NAVAIR for North America and by SurTec International through its network of SurTec Companies world wide. This unique product not only offers corrosion protection on its own, but is a great base for paint and other top coatings. ChromitAL TCP offers 72 plus hours to white corrosion NSS. This process is a comercially avalable process and meets MILspec secifications. SurTec International was recently awarded two licenses from the US Navy to manufacture and market TCP, its new process for Cr(6)-free conversion coatings. One license is a non exclusive for North America, the other, an exclusive worldwide license for the rest of the world. The product is available under the SurTec name SurTec 650 - ChromitAL TCP
ChromitAL TCP is the only process that replaces all properties obtained with Cr(6) type passivation on aluminum, including bare corrosion resistance, low electrical contact resistance and excellent adhesive bonding to paint. The process is covered by 4 US patents.

Chromiting...... your answer to a Hexavalent-Free conversion Coating !!
CST-SurTec offers you the corrosion protection of conventional hexavalent chromate conversion coatings in our new Trivalent Chromate: Chromiting! The Chromiting conversion coating is heat treatable (4 hours at 200 degrees C (400 degrees F)) with up to 10% loss in corrosion protection. This product is ideal for the Automotive industry where non-Hex conversion coatings are desired over Zinc as well as Zinc-alloy plated parts.

CST-SurTec 871 Room Temperature Decorative Chrome.
CST-SurTec 871 is a two component Decorative Chrome Process which exhibits excellent coverage at temperatures around 25-35 degrees C (76-90 degrees F). CST 871 is optimal for plating complex geometrical parts and often there is no need for shields or stoppers. This process shows excellent current efficiency, even at low current densities and is also effective at low chromic acid concentrations beginning at 180 g/l.

ZinConium.... "The NEW Element in ANC Zinc Plating". This is one component system, that produces a fine grained, non-oriented, ductile, pore free, carbon rich deposit. ZinConium is capable of plaign directly on cast iron, ideal for rack and barrel applications. Provides excellent throwing and covering capabilities.
Ideal for shops where cast iron parts are plated.
